Alanna wins the April card contest photo. I love this sample as it is elegant in its simplicity. Also it uses of my favourite retiring stamp sets "In Full Bloom" and it showcases a "mini card" (measures 4.25 " square) which are all the rage. Alanna also did a beautiful job watercolouring the image and she used crystal effects to secure the gold microbeads (from the $1 store) to the centre of the image.
Ann used Garden Collage (retired in 2005) with Carte Postale (Winter 2007 Mini). The panel is glossy cardstock, marbleized with re-inkers and rubbing alcohol. The image is embossed in black and coloured in. The cardstock is Apricot Appeal and Cranberry Crisp. She used a direct to paper technique for the large layer. Just gorgeous!
